Eating and drinking in a stylish atmosphere. Fine dining at our family hotel in Rasen-Antholz.
Your palate will enjoy a gourmet holiday, courtesy of our magnificent kitchen team. The Alpenhof serves up specialties from South Tyrol, Mediterranean dishes from Bella Italia and classics of international cuisine that are sure to tickle your taste buds.
We only use high-quality, local and natural products, both from our own farm and from local producers.
And don’t worry: even if you consume the calories with gusto while on holiday in South Tyrol, your favourite trousers will still fit after you get home. Promise!
A cup of black coffee, a glass of orange juice, a slice of wholemeal bread spread with butter and apricot jam, perhaps some sausage from the butcher opposite and cheese from South Tyrol: this is how your breakfast table could look. You don’t like apricot jam? You prefer your coffee with milk? No problem!
Our rich and vital breakfast buffet has everything your heart could desire. And, so you can stay comfortably in bed a little longer, coffee, rolls and all the rest are served until 11 am.
For a quick break a snack lunch is served daily from 12:30 to 13:30 pm, while for your kids hot meals are freshly prepared in the kitchen.
Afterwards, those with a sweet tooth can look forward to the buffet with a variety of cakes, ice cream and snacks in the afternoon. There is always something to pick you up at 5 pm when you get home after a busy day’s activity! And we definitely recommend trying our homemade cakes!
The highlight of each evening is the fine 5-course gourmet menu where our chefs really give it their all. Our excellent cuisine is something for connoisseurs and gourmets. The evening menu is accompanied by an ever-changing salad, crudités and cheese buffet: for our junior guests there is a children’s menu, with dishes served à la minute.
How about just you and me in the farmhouse snug?
A cosy atmosphere and a stylish ambience surround you in our historic farmhouse snugs. The former grain store, the old cowshed or the nostalgic cellar are all ideal for spending time together. You can also feel the history and charm of bygone eras in our smoking kitchen and threshing chamber. Just you and me – and maybe a glass of fine South Tyrolean wine?
Fine and light, with a hint of violet. How does that appeal?
The open fire is flickering in the historic farmhouse snug, a glass of wine awaits. Today it’s a full-bodied Lagrein, tomorrow perhaps a lighter Vernatsch.
Those wanting to end a wonderful day’s holiday with a glass of wine after the evening meal will find a respectable selection in our wine bar. Fine Italian and South Tyrolean wines await you in our historic farmhouse snug, along with our tasty home-produced speck, cheese or a typical South Tyrolean snack platter should you wish. In autumn there is a further speciality to try in our wine bar: törggelen, the traditional South Tyrol way to enjoy chestnuts.
