Cross-country skiing and biathlon in Rasen-Antholz: pure family fun on the cross-country ski trail.
Skating style: the everyday just melts away.
Have you ever skated on skis over a frozen mountain lake?
Or tried classic style through a snowy, glittering spruce forest?
Not? Then now is the time!
The Antholz Valley Trail, totalling almost 60 kilometres, offers plenty of room to glide over the glittering snow until your thighs burn.
If you want to find out just what your inner cross-country skier can do, book one of the many courses at the cross-country and biathlon school with a professional cross-country ski instructor.
The groomed trail on the frozen Lake Antholz is absolutely legendary, letting you glide along in the midst of unspoilt nature.
The free ski bus offers a comfortable ride up from the Dolomit Alpenhof family hotel to an altitude of 1,600 metres and the famous biathlon stadium, the South Tyrol Arena in Antholz. The Biathlon World Cup is held here every year: it will play host to the 2020 World Championships and the 2026 Winter Olympics, allowing you to follow the same courses as the professionals. You can even shoot too – but please no wild animals! Just the little black discs, all under the watchful eye of a biathlon instructor.
Let’s see if Mum hits all five targets again today. Unlikely, she’s already out of breath…
